Alan E. Smith on 101 Tips for Better And More Healthy Sleep

Alan E. Smith’s latest book 101 Tips for Better And More Healthy Sleep (Loving Healing Press, January 2023) is a short yet immensely informative work which, as the title tells, offers 101 tips for normalizing one’s sleep for better overall health. Smith drew his inspiration from Bruce Lipton’s book The Biology of Belief: Unleashing the Power of Consciousness, Matter, & Miracles. – NewsBlaze

Inspired by Lipton’s work, Smith  began offering PSYCH-K in Plano, Texas. PSYCH-K. He tells RTS what it is about and some more about his new book.

What is the PSYCH-K process in a nutshell?

PSYCH-K uses muscle testing to work directly with the subconscious mind to quickly transform beliefs to support your best life.

Is this process included in your book 101 Tips for Better And More Healthy Sleep?

Strangely enough, it isn’t. I guess I could’ve added a 102nd tip for people who don’t believe they’ll ever be able to get a good night’s sleep!

Is your book for readers of all ages? Or does it target more of one particular age group (or other demographic)?

It covers everyone from babies to senior citizens because our sleep changes throughout our life.

In today’s cyber-world with social media and tech all around, how is sleep threatened by these new-age devices and services?

Basically they can prevent us from slowing down and relaxing so we’re ready for sleep because they can put us into a 24/7 world.

Many people take sleeping pills. What are the chances of addiction and dependency on such pills?

It’s a very real danger and one that your doctor needs to monitor. They can be helpful to deal with a short-term crisis in your life but there are probably safer alternatives.

Can music play a role in getting a better sleep?

Absolutely! It can be a way for you to relax and calm down but obviously loud rock-n-roll isn’t the best choice at bedtime.

Why is your book so short?

As a former journalist I guess I’m just used to writing in a clean, to-the-point and easy-to- understand style. It helps readers find answers to their sleep problems more quickly.
