In April, RTS had a brief chat with Loving Healing Press author Sweta Srivastava Vikram about her new book The Loss That Binds Us: 108 Tips on Coping with Grief and Loss.

“Grief is complicated and your world feels shattered when you lose a loved one,” Vikram told RTS and added, “Spirituality helps us engage with certain questions and fills those gaps and holes in the foundation of our lives.”

Sweta Vikram on I am Awake Now What

Early this month, Dr. Sweta Vikram was interviewed by Krista Xiomara on her podcast I’m Awake! Now What? to discuss  the nature and forms of grief and how the experience of grief fits in a spiritual perspective. As included in the episode description:

Sweat emphasizes the important of self-honesty when interacting with our grief, and she says “being honest about your grief will help you heal.

Drawing on her expertise in Ayurvedic medicine, Dr. Vikram also talked about a number of helpful steps that people can take to heal from within. The podcast video comes with subtitles so viewers with hearing impairment can understand and enjoy this interesting and important conversation.
