Modern History Press Author to Tour UP Breweries in June

Jon C. Stott, author of the new book Yooper Ale Trails: Craft Breweries and Brewpubs of Michigan’s Upper Peninsula (Modern History Press, 2023), will be visiting local brewpubs and craft breweries in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula from June 8 to June 28, 2023.

Stott will visit 9 breweries in UP and hold book signing and meet-and-greet events there. The breweries on his scheduled tour are listed below along with dates and times of his visits. Interested brewery and beer fans can share a beer with Stott on this tour, chat about ale and lagers, and get their own autographed copy of the book.

Professor Emeritus of English (University of Alberta), Jon C. Stott grew up in Victoria, B.C. During his professional career, at Western Michigan University and the University of Alberta, Jon wrote such books as Native Americans in Children’s Literature and Canadian Children’s Books (with Raymond E. Jones).
