Amazon Recalls Several Products over Safety Concerns
Removing unsafe products from the house may be counted as the most important part of housekeeping and care for family. This weekend has brought one of the biggest product recalls in recent months as Amazon has issued a nationwide product recall for multiple items.
As reported in Newsweek on Saturday, Amazon has issued a recall alert for some half a million products sold by the online store. Among the items recalled are baby loungers, portable power banks, and misting fans. The following products are included in the recall over risks to safety:
- LXDHSTRA Baby Loungers and Crib Bumpers
- Anker Power Banks
- YooxArmor Kids’ Helmets
- Youbeien Crib Mobiles Recalled Over Battery Ingestion Hazard
- IcyBreeze Misting Fans Recalled for Fire Risk.
Consumers who bought these are being asked to stop using them and remove these products while contacting the manufacturers or sellers for a refund.
The Amazon recall comes parallel to another recall notice issued by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for a dozen ground cinnamon products that may contain unsafe levels of lead in them. People.com published a list of these products along with the places where they are sold. Consumers can also check out the FDA website to see details of the recalled cinnamon products along with the pictures of each product.
To keep your home and kitchen safe for the family, make sure to check the FDA website and search the internet for recall news a few times a week and even daily if possible.
