Special Living Magazine Features Jewel Kats

Award-winning LHP author Jewel Kats has been featured in the Fall 2013 issue of Special Living Magazine.

Kats, who is the author of the award-winning children’s book Cinderella’s Magical Wheelchair: An Empowering Fairy Tale, has been featured on the mag’s cover as “Diva – on a chair”. The feature story on Kats includes a short Q&A with the Canadian author who writes empowering books for children, taking kids with some form of disability as the central character and showing the strength and beauty of life via the narrative.

Kats has lately found a great deal of visibility for her uplifting work and inspiring life lessons for children with special needs around the world. Recently she was featured in The Toronto Star as a “princess living her fairy tale”.

In her interview on Digital Journal in late August, Kats told about her new book Snow White’s Seven Patches that is in progress. In her words, “This is the first ever fairy tale in history about Vitiligo.”
