Guest Blogger: Kathryn

Hair loss being a very common problem for all of us, we look for the solution which will be effective yet without any side effects. Most of the products that are available in the market have side effects due to their chemical compositions but one can safely use any herbal remedy for hair loss without any risk. There are many components in our kitchens and around us that can show effective results for hair loss and we do not have to spend out valuable time and money for that.

To have beautiful and healthy hair, we must have healthy and clean scalp. To have healthy scalp, we can oil massage the scalp everyday with oil using our fingertips. The oil used should be a mixture of any of the base oils, like almond oil, olive oil, jojoba oil or grape seed oil; and the mixture can contain 3 drops of each type of essential oil. Massaging the scalp with this mixture will help in blood circulation and hair growth will be promoted.

Onion is very good ingredient for re- growth of hair. So one can massage the scalp with the onion juice and after keeping that for 30 minutes on the scalp can wash the hair with a mild shampoo. Herbal hair packs are very good for taking care of hair. One can mix Indian Gooseberry powder, Henna powder, lemon juice, and curd and use that as the hair pack. After keeping the pack for about 30 minutes, one can wash the hair with a mild shampoo. It will help in preventing hair loss and promote hair growth.

One can also make homemade herbal shampoo with the Amla (Indian Gooseberry) powder, Shikakai powder, and Reetha (soap nut) powder. When the Aloe Vera gel is used along with olive oil or castor oil, it can work as one of the best herbal remedy for hair loss and promotes hair growth.
