Guided Meditation – Connect With Your Subconscious

For thousands of years, meditation was an essential part of human life, especially in oriental traditions.

In the past decades, the so-called modern lifestyle has become a major setback, causing several mental and emotional problems. Instead of learning how to control our thoughts and emotions, we let them take charge of us.

This has pushed many people to rely on medication, alcohol and drug use. Daily meditation and a balanced lifestyle can help us gain balance and control on multiple levels of our being, including the emotional and mental levels.

Guided Meditation

It is known that meditation can help us connect with our subconscious mind. The subconscious mind stores everything we experience. That also includes our beliefs and fears. There are several methods that can help us replace our subconscious mind’s negative thought patterns and implement new positive ones.

Re-program Your Subconscious Mind to Transform Your Life

We work well with routines; we repeat the same patterns over and over. We program our subconscious mind through repetition. The question is whether we are choosing these programs for ourselves or that have been imposed on us? Are they helpful to us? If not, how can we break these old patterns?

Meditation Is the Key

The benefits of meditation have been well documented for thousands of years by scientists, yogis, and spiritual practitioners, referring to it as mindfulness, contemplation, or meditation. Basically, it’s the same thing — disconnecting us from any activities and immersing into the silent space between our thoughts.

Regular meditation will boost our self-confidence and help to ease mood swings and mental disorders. A daily meditation routine will clear the mind from negative thoughts and help us gain and maintain emotional stability.

So, how exactly do you meditate?

Choose a comfortable and airy place, where nothing will disturb you.  Start your meditation with a few deep breaths, to calm your mind, and release tensions.

Now that you are sitting in the proper position, relaxed, breathing consciously, what’s next?

Start With Guided Meditation

If you have no experience in meditating, one of the best options would be to start with a  guided meditation from an experienced lightworker.

Guided meditation, also referred to as guided imagery or visualization, will help you gain experience and learn how to meditate. The practice of visualization is very popular amongst top athletes. They know the secret: when you imagine what you want to be true, eventually you’ll make it become true. During your guided meditation, you will follow the instructions of an experienced practitioner in person or via recording.

Guided meditation uses the symbolic language of the right brain and allows you to connect with your subconscious mind. It is a powerful tool for self-awareness, it can make you aware of how your thoughts, feelings, beliefs and habits influence your life.

When Is the Best Time to Meditate?

A brief answer would be whenever you feel. However, there are moments when meditation can have the most beneficial effects. It’s known that a cup of green tea in the morning can flush out toxins from our body. Meditation has the same effect on the mental level. In the morning, we are full of energy, including our minds. So, an ideal time to start your meditation would be in the morning.
