Poetry
Apart From Words
Curved lines of loosely-chosen order
Speak to strangers through the veil of vagueness
Some language lacking words
Making sense, nevertheless, to those with clairvoyance
The message, as it filters through, puts on
A guise that the Greeks and Romans knew
Calling, in perfect confidence, the watching eyes
To break again with laws of man and gods
No more to watch the warmth Prometheus brings
Wave farewell to borrowed faith and worn-out tradition
Speak daringly to one’s shivering homunculus
Some language lacking words
