Request for Artist submissions!

Cover of Vol. 3, No. 2

We’re looking for the next great cover art for “Recovering The Self: A Journal of Hope and Healing” Vol. III, No. 3 (July 2011).  If you’re an artist and you’d like your art to be featured in this upcoming special issue on “Disease and Recovery” please contact editor@recoveringself.com with your submission.

Visual artists of all stripes are encouraged to send their work: watercolor, oils, pencil, ink, digital, photographic… you name it.  Even textile and sculpture will be considered if a suitable picture can represent the artwork!  If your artwork is selected, you’ll be featured on the full-color cover, you will receive a commemorative museum-quality poster, and you’ll get a one page “About The Artist” feature article as the very first article in the front of the Journal.  You can either write about your journey to becoming an artist or if you’re stuck for words, you can be interviewed by Ernest Dempsey.

(NOTE: All submissions are digital regardless of medium, you’ll be supplying a 300dpi scan or 4+ megapixel digital snapshot).
