Tips to Lose Weight in 30 Days

by John Gary

Obesity is on the risobesitye, and one of the problems of the new world is certainly combating it. This article will provide you with some tips that will prove effective in shedding weight within 30 days.

1. Exercise Routinely

The most underrated weight loss technique, exercising at least 5-6 times in a week is imperative to burn excess fat. Your weight loss regime can involve 30 minute training sessions with a fitness expert, a strenuous sport or running on your treadmill. In all, care should be taken that the workout is continuous, aerobic or cardio in nature, and allows you to exert yourself to the maximum. Regular exercise will not only help you shed the extra pounds, but it will tone your body as well. Consult a physician before embarking on a scheduled exercise program, and engage in a regimen that caters to your age and weight.

2. Embark on a Healthy Diet

It is vital to eat clean so that weight loss results are evident as soon as possible. It goes without saying that you should avoid junk food and processed foods at all costs. Incorporate a lot of water and vegetables in your diet. In order to have a perfectly balanced diet, ensure that there are items from all the food groups (carbs, fats, proteins, vitamins and minerals) in each meal. Furthermore, portion control and eating more frequently will contribute to making you feel fuller. Skip carbonated beverages and deserts as well to get the most out of your regime.

3. Drink Herbal Tea

The effectiveness of herbal tea has long been debated. However, studies have shown that combined with a healthy diet and workout routine, herbal teas help to dissolve fat. The antioxidants present in them aid in the fat burning process. These teas should ideally be consumed after a meal, and should not be consumed in quantities of more than 2-3 cups a day.

4. Avoid Sedentary Activities

If you work, take a round on your floor after every 2 hours. Choose to take the stairs instead of the elevator when you enter a building. Similarly, you can cut down on prolonged sessions of TV watching or playing video games; instead, you can go out for a walk or do chores round the house so that your body is continuously burning calories.

5. Up Your Water Intake

The amount of water that you require depends on your level of activity and climate. Start your day with 2 glasses of water, and ensure that you stay hydrated throughout the day. It will not only cleanse your system by removing toxins from your bloodstream, but will improve your skin too.

6. Keep Accountability

Weigh yourself at the start of your 30 day plan, and measure yourself so that you know your body statistics in inches. Continue to weigh yourself at the same time and same day each week, and jot it down. This will help you keep track of your weight loss, and will also help you recalibrate your fitness regime in case your weight is stuck. Doing so will give you a more tangible, measurable idea of how you are doing and will help you tailor your health plan accordingly.

7. Find a Fitness Buddy

If you work out with a friend and compare notes on what you eat, you will be motivated and will stay focused on your health regime. People who exercise in groups (such as in aerobics classes), train together (marathons), or join personal training studio tend to be more committed to the program and achieve their required results much more easily than those who exercise alone.
